Is linen provided?
Yes, all bedlinen and towels are provided at all of our properties.  All beds have been fitted with electric blankets.
Is breakfast included?
No.  Each cottage is stocked with tea and coffee, sugar and a small carton of long life milk. Whilst each of the properties (except McArthurs Garden) have full kitchens guests of Heritage Cottages of Maldon receive a 10% discount at McArthurs Cafe which is open from 9 everyday except Tuesday.
Is there an open fireplace?
All of the cottages have either an open fire of a Coonara type wood heater.  Ample stock of wood is always provided.
Is there a spa?
Most of the Cottages do have a spa.  However given the severity of the current drought Central Victoria currently has Stage 4 water restrictions which prohibit the use of spas.  To find out more about how the water restrictions may affect your visit to Maldon please visit this site
Is there a TV/DVD?
Yes, all of the cottages have a TV and either a DVD or a video.  Most have both.  Television reception is generally very good and all Melbourne channels are available.
Are children welcome?
Some of the Cottages are not suitable for children, particulalry  Middlemiss Cottage.  However we welcome children and families at the others.
Are pets welcome?
Again pets are not suitable at  Middlemiss Cottage. Please check the suitability of other properties when you book.
Can we smoke?
No, all of the properties are non-smoking.
How do we make a booking?
You may either email us at enquiries@heritagecottages.com.au or ring 5475 1094.  Our office is always attended.
What if we cancel?
Bookings are confirmed with the receipt of 50% of the tariff deposit.  This is non-refundable within 14 days of the date of the booking.  Cancellations greater than 14 days from the date of the booking will be refunded less 10%. 
What time is check-in/check-out?
Check-in is generally 2pm and check-out 10am.  However where there is no subsequent booking we are always more than happy to extend these times if possible.  Please check with us when you book and pick up the keys.
Where do we collect and return the keys?
Keys are collected and returned from McArthurs Cafe, 43 Main Street, Maldon
